Attachment Day 13
wednesday

morning at office reading manuals.
i ead about IABP and it stands for Intra- Aortic balloon pump.

afternoon went to tan tock seng hospital. it was my first time being there.
from office, tuan bring me and yip to tiong bahru for lunch then drop me off at TTSH for me to meet William.

Sit at the entrance waiting for William for very long. and finally he reached and we went to do our PM at breast assessment centre at B1.

William had poor memory as he could not recall the name of the person he wanted to look for so he called office to ask. proceed to do our pm inside a room after finding the person that we are looking for.

this time it is a Mammotome machine which William and i were first time doing it.
The Mammotome System is for diagnostic use only and is not indicated for therapeutic use.
Through the use of imaging methods such as X-ray or ultrasound, a breast abnormality or breast lump can be detected, even in its earliest stages. Using the same imaging methods, a physician can guide a Mammotome® probe into a suspicious area of the breast to gently collect the abnormal tissue through one small, ¼-inch incision.

The Mammotome® System also can be used for fibroadenomas (non-cancerous breast lumps). Millions of women can now receive care in a doctor's office with the Mammotome® System rather than having the lump removed by invasive surgery in an operating room.

the mammotome we do PM is from johnson & johnson brand.
